I first began with drawing a few sketches to begin the process of ideation of a solution of the app.

After this I looked at design guides and wanted to choose one that will work with my app. I chose Material UI, I modified the colours to purple as purple is a calming colour.

App Development.

I used Adobe XD and Photoshop for the work that I provided. Adobe XD does provide prototyping but I did not have enough time to complete this task.

HomeScreen

They can login and join a meeting like a guest.

Guest Login

They need a meeting Id that is sent to them by email, they choose a name and their VR Options.

Tutorial

If joining for the first time, they are given a tutorial.

VR View

When in VR view, they can look around, explore and and interact with their therapist. Here is an example preview of what that may look like:

Other Avenues

I looked into other avenues that maybe required for a full app, but they are optional and not fully required. The above simple solutions captures most of the problem.

Avatar

We can create 3D Avatars from a single image, this maybe required if the student or the teacher have not seen each other and to give an overall “face” to the people meeting online.
